MAGNETLESS OPTION 🧲
We've made it super easy to SAVE on costs/shipping by making magnets optional and allowing artists to DIY their own bookmarks. You can purchase your own magnets to apply from another provider (in your home country) or purchase them from us here.
Choosing our DIY KIT options allow you to build your own magnetic bookmarks to create content for socials or to increase profit margins by taking on some of the production yourself!
FAQS
How many designs can I upload per package?
You may upload only one design per package, our discounts per bookmark are rewarded only to those who are ordering more of the same design.
What is the line in the centre fold of the bookmark for?
We make all of our bookmarks by hand so this line is printed for us as a visual guide of where to score your bookmark. You can ask us to make it any colour you wish, themed, or slightly faded.
I'm not a designer, but would like to order, can I just send you my artwork?
Yes! If you aren't able to use our templates or don't have any design expertise feel free to simply send your bookmark image along with any custom instructions and we'll put things together for you.
Is it possible to have no white border around my bookmark?
Yes! We can cut slightly inside your bookmark to create bleed to make borderless bookmarks if need. Simply ensure either that your bookmark can enough room to have us cut inside, or that it's all one colour around the edge for us to add bleed.
Is it possible to have a die-cut shaped backing card too?
Yes! We're more than happy to cut your backing cards into a custom shape if needed like the jar example in our image gallery. Simply ensure your shape fits inside our backing card template.

Disclaimer: When making Magnetic Bookmarks we twist or rotate two magnets facing together to find the strongest area of support. This means that magnets may not always align perfectly, in fact 80% of the time magnets like to align in a Z formation.
All of our magnetic bookmarks are made by hand 🖐️ so please allow for minor imperfections like lint or trimming variances.

USA (United States) 🇺🇸
For US customers, all orders under $800 USD from the UK 🇬🇧 do not have any traditional import fees – this is called the de minimis exemption. Sales tax may apply depending on the state you reside and value of goods, so please check with your local government as this is applied by and paid to them.
The de minimus exemption doesn’t apply however, to goods made in China 🇨🇳, even if they’re shipped from the UK🇬🇧. U.S. Customs will charge fees on items of Chinese 🇨🇳 origin no matter the value. If your order includes Chinese-made raw materials (like our vinyls, laminates and other supplies) please see below for current and up-to-date information:
APRIL 2ND, 2025 - 10% TARIFF ON UK 🇬🇧 ORIGIN GOODS
As of April 2nd 2025, the United States introduced a 10% import tariff on UK origin goods. This means that if a product is manufactured in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧, U.S. Customs may apply an import duty equal to 10% of the order value. These charges are determined by U.S. Customs and are not within our control.
Stickiply products that could be affected by 10% import tariffs (Manufactured in the UK 🇬🇧 & of UK 🇬🇧 origin) are as follows but not limited to:
- STICKIPLY CREATE: Including Custom Vinyl Stickers, Vinyl Sticker Sheets, Magnetic Bookmarks, Mousemats & Coasters, Prints, Mugs, Greeting Cards, Custom shaped die-cut Magnets & Wedding Scratch Cards.
- STICKIPLY SUPPLIES: Stickiply Self Adhesive Laminate (Matte) & Self Adhesive Laminate (Gloss) both of which are manufactured in the UK.

MAY 2ND, 2025 - 170% TARIFF ON CHINESE 🇨🇳 ORIGIN GOODS [PAUSED MAY 12TH]
From May 2nd 2025, the U.S. significantly expanded tariffs on Chinese-origin goods, regardless of where they are shipped from — including the UK 🇬🇧. These changes include new reciprocal tariffs, Section 301 duties, and measures under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA).
Products of Chinese origin may have faced tariffs of up to:
- 125% reciprocal tariff
- 25% Section 301 duty
- 20% IEEPA-based tariff
→ Total potential: up to 170%
Additionally, the $800 USD de minimis exemption was removed for Chinese-origin goods, meaning all shipments, regardless of value, could be taxed.

MAY 12TH, 2025 - REDUCED 30% TARIFF ON CHINESE 🇨🇳 ORIGIN GOODS & DE MINIMIS REMOVAL
As of May 12th, 2025, the U.S. Government and China have agreed to a 90 Day Pause in tariff escalation. This pause has temporarily lowered tariffs from approx 170% to 30% on Chinese origin goods.
Under this agreement:
- Tariffs on Chinese 🇨🇳 origin goods entering the U.S. were temporarily reduced to 30% from 170%.
- ⚠️ This Pause is valid for 90 days and subject to renewal, reversal, or revision.
- The de minimis exemption remains suspended for Chinese-origin goods.
- The reduced rate still applies regardless of the shipping origin, so even UK 🇬🇧 shipments containing Chinese 🇨🇳 made goods are affected.
⚠️ IMPORTANT SHIPPING NOTICE FOR CHINESE 🇨🇳 ORIGIN GOODS
If your order contains products of Chinese origin mentioned above (e.g. printable vinyls, lamination films, magnets and other stickiply supplies), please select the UPS Shipping option at checkout.
As of 2nd May 2025, the U.S. has imposed:
- A $100 flat fee per package on Chinese🇨🇳 origin goods shipped via International mail (e.g. International Standard/Tracked which are passed to USPS).
- This increases to $200 per package from June 1st, 2025.
➡️ UPS and other commercial couriers are not subject to the same flat postal fee, and customs clearance is much faster and more predictable. They are however still subject to the 10-30% tariffs. To avoid unnecessary fees, delays, or returns, we strongly recommend using UPS for all supply-related orders.

Northern Ireland (NI) 🇬🇧
From 1 May 2025, new UK–EU customs rules (The Windsor Framework) mean that we need to include extra customs information when sending parcels from Great Britain to Northern Ireland.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Customs Declarations: Your parcel will be sent with detailed customs info (description, value, origin).
- Possible Charges: Occasionally, parcels may be subject to customs checks or import duties. If this happens, these charges are the responsibility of the customer.
- Delays: These changes may also cause occasional delays while your parcel is being processed at customs.
Stickiply doesn't currently have a business presence or customs representative based in Northern Ireland, therefore this may affect how your parcel is handled. We’re working on ways to make this smoother, and we’ll keep you updated as things develop.
European Union (EU) 🇪🇺
Following the United Kingdom's departure from the EU, customers in EU member states may be subject to VAT, import duties, and handling charges.
- Orders under €150: Thanks to our integration with the EU Import One Stop Shop (IOSS), VAT is collected at checkout, minimising customs delays. However, small customs processing or brokerage fees may still apply.
- Orders over €150: VAT and customs duties will be managed by your local customs or postal service. If you’d like to pre-pay these fees, please contact us prior to placing your order so we can arrange DDP (Duty Delivered Paid)shipping.
CPTPP Countries 🇨🇦
As part of the UK’s membership in the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), for Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Peru, Chile, Brunei, Malaysia, Mexico and Vietnam, many of our products, such as stickers and bookmarks, are eligible for 0% tariffs in participating countries. However:
- Local VAT (Often 20%), GST, or other consumption taxes may still apply.
- Customs processing or handling fees may be charged by your local authority.
GCC Countries 🇦🇪
For Countries in the Gulf Cooperation Council such as Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE
- Orders are subject to import duties and taxes, including a standard 5% customs duty on most goods.
- Additionally, Value Added Tax (VAT) may apply, typically at a rate of 5%, depending on the country.
These charges are determined by the local customs authority in the destination country and are not included in the price of your order at checkout.
International Destinations 🌐
For countries outside the EU, USA, GCC or CPTPP regions:
- Import duties, VAT, and handling charges are determined by your local customs authority and are the customer’s responsibility. Please check your local government website before ordering.
- Failure to pay these charges may result in the package being returned to us. Additional postage costs for reshipping will be covered by the customer. Refunds of postage are not offered in this respect.

Storage Instructions:
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture. Avoid high humidity to prevent warping, fading, or degradation of materials. Keep magnets away from electronic devices, credit cards, and medical implants such as pacemakers. Store flat to prevent bending or damage to stickers, laminates, and bookmarks. Keep all products out of reach of children and pets.
Warnings:
Our products and not suitable for children under 3 years – small parts may present a choking hazard. Magnets can interfere with electronic equipment and medical devices. Handle with care to avoid sharp edges on laminated products. Vinyl and plastic components are flammable – keep away from open flames and extreme heat.
Vinyl Stickers and Stickers sheets are printed with aqueous inks and therefore not suitable for outdoor usage. Extended usage outdoors may lead to evaporation or fading from UV exposure. Smudging or defective adhesive from extreme hot or cold temperatures and more. Our vinyl and sublimated products are not suitable for dish-washers, hand-wash items decorated with stickers or sublimated with luke-warm water and minimal abrasion.
All of our products are for decorative or functional purposes only and are not intended for ingestion or misuse.
Disposal Instructions:
Dispose of all products responsibly in accordance with local waste and recycling regulations. Vinyl stickers, laminates, and plastic bookmarks are not biodegradable and should be recycled where facilities exist. Do not incinerate vinyl or plastic materials, as they may release toxic fumes. Magnets must be separated from other materials and disposed of safely.
